			Bangladesh-Malaysia Chamber of Commerce & Industry (BMCCI) is an independent non profit service oriented organization that promotes leadership, strategic thinking and bilateral business partnerships. BMCCI’s mission is to help Private Sector leadership in trade & industry and wants to foster strategic capabilities through the interchange of ideas,

information and knowledge leading to trade and investment between the two countries. Towards that end, BMCCI continuously engages in the reach and implementation of strategic leadership programmes, publication, seminars and active participations in the OIC, WIEF, NAM Business Forums and bilateral business missions. Some of the leading Malaysian Corporates like Telecom Malaysia, Westmont Power, Malaysian Air Lines and Malaysian Palm Oil Council are our members. The Chamber events have been addressed by Senior Cabinet Ministers, captains of industry and prominent strategic thinkers to discuss issues of strategic importance to governments and businesses. BMCCI organized the First Bangladesh-Malaysia Business Forum in 2004 in Dhaka with grand success wherein the former Prime Minister and the Architect of modern Malaysia Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad presented his Keynote Speech on “Malaysia 2020: From Vision to Reality”.

As a part of its trade promotion activities the chamber organized for the first time a Malaysia Single Country trade Fair as SHOWCASE MALAYSIA 2008 in Dhaka, with the active support and cooperation of Malaysia South-South Association (MASSA), Kuala Lumpur and Malaysian High Commission in Bangladesh.
