Malaysia will be organizing D-8 Business Forum on 3 July, 2008 at the Hilton Kuala Lumpur in conjunction with the 6th D-8 Summit. The D-8 Business Forum is jointly organized by Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Malaysia and the National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Malaysia (NCCIM).
The Forum will deliberate on three (3) areas which include biotechnology, Halal industry and renewable energy. It is envisaged that the outcome of the Forum would be the launching pad for potential innovative collaboration between the private sectors of D-8 member countries in these three identified sectors.
